Introduction
Welcome to your course in Economy & Business. This course challenges us to bring a Catholic imagination to bear upon our activities of commerce and exchange.
To lead us through this course, we are privileged to have with us Mary Hirschfeld, Associate Professor of Economics and Theology at Villanova University.
The subsequent lessons will help us to develop an understanding of economics grounded in the principles of Catholic Social Thought, with the hope that, equipped with a true vision of the human person and society, we can act as agents of insight and justice in all affairs related to business and exchange.
