The charism discernment process often takes time, and is an essential part of living out your personal calling to the full. Because discernment is ongoing, the second Charisms course you see on your “My-Courses” page is not a part of the scheduled curriculum, but is for you to engage regularly throughout the formation (and beyond). You already have been given access to this second course on Charism discernment, which dives deeper into the nuances of helping others discern their charisms, which also sharpens your ability to see the spiritual gifts manifesting in your life as well. This is a much shorter course, but offers a whole new approach to categorizing them, so as to help distinguish and pinpoint which ones may be at work (or better yet, at play).
This live and in-person workshop is meant to supplement the Charism discernment courses, and also give you and your group the opportunity to practice the discernment skills with your group.
It is important that you’re able to discuss each charism’s dynamics before being able to categorize them anew and help others discern. Thus, we ask that you complete the first Charisms course before the Charism II workshop. For those who are ready to dive deeper, you can begin the second charisms course at any time, but it’s not needed for the Charisms II Workshop.
